policy & platform

this isn’t politics as usual

i’m not here to play the game — i’m here to break it. my platform is built by and for working people, rooted in real-world experience on the shop floor, not corporate boardrooms. these policies are ambitious, unapologetic, and designed to put power back where it belongs: in the hands of everyday americans. explore the full platform below and see exactly how we’re going to take on the system — and win.

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

Labor & Workers’ Rights

I’m a proud autoworker and union organizer — and I know firsthand that America’s labor system is broken.
We need a complete overhaul of federal labor laws to put workers first, not corporate profits.

  • Dramatically strengthen union bargaining power.

  • Criminalize union-busting with real penalties.

  • Enforce mandatory paid sick leave (separate from PTO).

  • Shift the national labor mindset to “work to live, not live to work.”

  • Pass legislation to secure better benefits, safer conditions, and enforceable labor protections across all industries.

  • Mandate a $25/hr Federal Minimum Wage — no American should be scraping by while billionaires thrive.

Universal & Affordable Healthcare

Healthcare is a human right — not a profit machine for insurance giants.

  • Provide basic, universal healthcare by reallocating federal funds.

  • Cap prescription drug prices and ban price gouging by insurance companies.

  • Strip unnecessary red tape from hospitals and support overworked medical staff.

  • Dramatically expand access in rural and underserved communities.

  • Expand mental health coverage and support services.

  • End the revolving door between health insurance execs and federal regulators.

Economic Justice & Federal Budget Overhaul

Our economy works for Wall Street, not Main Street — and that needs to change.

  • Slash wasteful military defense spending, especially foreign aid and arms deals, and redirect those funds to domestic priorities.

  • Prioritize infrastructure, public transit, rural development, and clean energy jobs.

  • Eliminate the sales tax, gas tax, estate tax, and cannabis taxes.

  • Deliver major tax cuts to working and low-income families — not the rich.

  • End subsidies to corporations that exploit workers.

Education Reform

Our schools are underfunded, over-tested, and failing to meet students where they are.

  • Dramatically increase federal funding for public schools — especially in rural and low-income districts.

  • Reinstate and strengthen the Department of Education.

  • Cut standardized testing and replace it with holistic, ability-based assessments.

  • Prioritize academics, the arts, and mental health support over athletics.

  • Expand special education funding and tailored curriculum models.

  • Invest in vocational, technical, and agricultural training as real alternatives to 4-year colleges.

  • Set a federal salary standard to significantly increase pay for K-12 public school teachers.

  • End the need for teachers to pay out-of-pocket for supplies.

Agriculture & Rural Revitalization

Family farms are dying while corporate agribusiness thrives. It’s time to flip that.

  • Pass a new Farm Bill that lowers supply costs and supports sustainable agriculture.

  • Expand crop insurance, conservation initiatives, and smart export policies.

  • Launch ag-career pipeline programs in public schools to combat labor shortages.

  • Fight market volatility and low commodity pricing for staple crops.

  • Enact an anti-Tariff policy to protect farmers from trade wars and price spikes.

  • Block corporate land grabs and support independent growers with grants and subsidies.

Environmental Justice & Clean Energy

We need a Green Future that works for workers — not billionaires.

  • Expand tax incentives for wind, solar, and sustainable energy technologies.

  • Invest in battery electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell infrastructure.

  • Dramatically increase EV and hydrogen public transit (buses, trains).

  • Create thousands of union-backed clean energy manufacturing jobs.

  • Deny federal subsidies to any clean energy company that refuses to guarantee fair wages, benefits, and safe working conditions.

  • Fund the expansion and protection of National Parks.

  • Enforce stricter penalties on trophy hunting and poaching on public lands and protected natural areas.

  • Strengthen conservation laws and introduce nature curriculum into K-12 education.

Veterans Affairs

We can’t claim to support our troops if we abandon them when they come home.

  • Overhaul and modernize the Department of Veterans Affairs.

  • Increase staffing and shorten wait times for appointments and claims.

  • Expand rural veteran healthcare services and increase the number of providers.

  • Simplify the benefits process and clear the disability backlog.

  • Guarantee healthcare, housing, and support services for every veteran — no exceptions.

Cannabis Legalization & Drug Policy Reform

Legalization without justice is exploitation.

  • Fully legalize cannabis federally and reclassify it under a new regulatory system.

  • Establish a Federal Marijuana Advisory Board made up of doctors, scientists, and experts — not politicians.

  • Commute and expunge all non-violent federal marijuana convictions immediately.

  • Eliminate mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenses.

  • End corporate profit schemes that tax cannabis while people remain in prison for it.

  • Provide federal grants and tax incentives for medicinal growers and small-scale operators.

  • Invest in drug rehab programs and public health education — not prisons.

Food & Drug Administration Overhaul

The FDA is failing to protect us. Let’s fix it.

  • Ban toxic food dyes like Red 40 and Yellow 5 & 6.

  • Eliminate carcinogenic and hormone-disrupting ingredients from U.S. food production.

  • Create an independent Food & Drug Safety Board to oversee ingredient safety and medical device approvals.

  • End the influence of lobbyists and executives from Big Food and Big Pharma.

Government Reform & Term Limits

Congress isn’t supposed to be a retirement home for the rich.

  • Cap the age for elected officials at 70 for all federal, state, and local offices.

  • Impose term limits:

    • U.S. Senators: 2 terms (12 years)

    • U.S. House Reps: 6 terms (12 years)

  • Ban lobbying jobs for ex-lawmakers.

  • End insider trading loopholes for members of Congress.

  • Return political power to the hands of the people — not corporate donors and party machines.
